Yulong Li's research group is committed to researching cutting-edge scientific issues in the field of neurobiology. His research work mainly includes the following aspects:
1. Development of genetically-encoded sensors for imaging neurotransmitters/ modulators and mapping electric synapses.
2. Deorphanization of orphan G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) in the nervous system.
3. Development of genetically-encoded tags for multiple cell type labeling in the brain under in vivo and EM system.
