On May 11th, the second SMART Symposium, organized by Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation (SMART) and Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL), was concluded successfully. The five day conference invited six keynote speakers, including Professor Jian Yang from Columbia University, Researcher George F. Gao, Researcher Yanli Wang and ResearcherLingling Chen from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Jijie Chai from Westlake University, Professor Arieh Warshel from The Chinese University of HongKong, Shenzhen and Warshel Institute for Computational Biology University of South California. Professor Yan Nieng, the founding president of SMART and the director of SZBL, presided over the opening of the symposium. More than 40 guests from over 20 well-known academic institutions gave reports and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges. More than 200 representatives from universities and enterprises attended the meeting.
