SZBL was officially accredited postdoctoral programme for postdoctoral recruitment and training, according to decisions made through November 2020 by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the China Postdoctoral Oversight Committee. This marked a milestone of the laboratory’s endeavor in talent acquisition and should open up a new path for it to gather and nurture outstanding scientific workforce as well as move forward its development of talent cultivation system.

SZBL initiated application for the postdoctoral programme at the early 2020. A great number of work was conducted through cross-laboratory efforts and based on research, data collection, investigation and analysis under the oversight of lab leadership and guidance of government agencies at different levels.

The accreditation of the programme will amplify SZBL’s impact in attracting more global talents with doctoral training experience. This will substantively optimize the use of lab resources, stimulate inter-lab trans-disciplinary exchanges and improve comprehensive innovation capability of SZBL.
