On the afternoon of September 19, Guangming District Reform and Innovation Award Commendation Conference was held in Guangming District Public Service Platform.
The conference commended the excellent projects, advanced collectives and advanced individuals who won the "Reform and Innovation Award" of Guangming District, and issued the "Selection Plan for the Outstanding Contribution Award for the Construction of Guangming Science City in 2022 in Guangming District", mobilized and called on the majority of cadres and masses in the district to be grateful and progress, run and catch up with others, and accelerate the construction of the world's leading science city and Shenzhen North Center to contribute wisdom and strength. Shenzhen Bay Laboratory and Zhang Bo, Junior Principal Investigator of Shenzhen Bay Laboratory were awarded the title of Advanced Collective and Advanced Individual.
Cai Ying, Party Secretary of the CPC Guangming District Committee, Lu Wenpeng, Deputy Secretary General of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Qiu Haohang, Deputy Party Secretary of the CPC Guangming District Committee and Mayor of the Guangming District, Jiang Xilin, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guangming District People's Congress, Guo Gang, Chairman of the Guangming District CPPCC, and other members of the district leading group attended the conference.
The participating leaders presented awards to 10 excellent projects, 10 advanced collectives and 10 advanced individuals who won the "Reform and Innovation Award". Afterwards, the representatives of excellent projects, advanced collectives and advanced individuals made speeches and shared their stories of reform and innovation in their respective fields.
In the past three years, the Guangming District Committee has made scientific plans, meticulous arrangements, and reform imprints scattered everywhere, and the results are in the forefront of the city. The whole district has carried out a total of 118 reform projects, launched 206 reform measures, formed 68 institutional innovation achievements, and took the lead in launching 8 comprehensive reform demonstration sites in the city.
The innovation ecology has been shaped and the innovation capacity has been continuously improved. In 2021, there were 119 innovation platforms above the municipal level in the district, 96 national and provincial science and technology strategic tasks were undertaken, the number of PCT international patent applications reached 739, and 8 national and provincial patent awards were won by various innovation entities.
The conference officially issued the "Selection Plan for the Outstanding Contribution Award for the Construction of Guangming Science City in 2022 in Guangming District".
It is understood that the award was approved by the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and the provincial government to establish, for the Guangming District organs and institutions, scientific research institutions, enterprises and their individuals, as well as other organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the construction of Guangming Science City, a total of 10 advanced collectives and 30 advanced individuals.
The conference called on the whole district to be grateful and progress to start again, be full of enthusiasm and innovation, and jointly build an excellent world-class science city and the northern center of Shenzhen with a more practical style, more high-spirited energy, more excellent skills, the spirit of reform and innovation, and a new state of responsibility.
