May 19, a delegation from China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings Co., Ltd (CMSK) came to Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL) for a visit. XU Yongjun, President of CMSK, led the delegation. SZBL Vice Executive Director WU Yun-Dong, Vice Director TU Huan, and other representatives from the laboratory, welcomed and met with the CMSK visiting group.

WU Yun-Dong greeted the delegates on the meeting and provided a detailed briefing on the development of SZBL. He said that collaboration drives the growth of SZBL and was hoping for strengthening ties with CMSK for future collaboration. Further introduction of the laboratory was given by LI Chao, Head of SZBL Office of Collaboration and Planning, pertaining to organizational structure, strategic planning, construction project and latest research progression on combating novel coronavirus. President XU Yongjun spoke about the history, business segments and governance mechanism of CMSK, pointing out the potential for the two parties to cooperate in healthcare and spatial construction.

The meeting drew to a close with both parties looking forward to further exchanges for cooperation.
