On June 29, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL) welcomed a delegation from the State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals, Dalian University of Technology (DUT). Led by Chinese Academician and State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals Director PENG Xiaojun, the delegation was received by SZBL Vice Director TU Huan, and other SZBL representatives. Both parties exchanged opinions on collaborative sci-tech project, technology transfer, and joint student training program during the visit.

Academician PENG and his delegates first visited the SZBL exhibition hall, followed by the meeting involving both parties. SZBL Vice Director TU Huan provided a detailed briefing on the progress, workforce, research groups, institutional mechanism, key research areas and scientific platforms of SZBL. LI Chao, Head of SZBL Office of Collaboration and Planning, introduced the organizational structure and planning and of SZBL’s permanent site to the delegates.

The DUT delegation introduced the research workforce and distribution of key research areas in the State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals, DUT, and also the laboratory’s plan for future development in Shenzhen.

Both the two parties extended to further discussion and reached intent for collaboration at the meeting.
