On July 25, 2025, the 3rd SZBL-Evident Microscopic Imaging Symposium was successfully held. The event was jointly organized by SZBL and Evident. Many professionals in the field of life sciences and microscopic imaging gathered to discuss the cutting-edge technologies and development trends in the related fields.
The seminar was hosted by Dr. Zhenglong Sun, Head of Bio-Imaging Core of SZBL. Dr. Huan Tu, Deputy Director of SZBL, delivered a speech, introducing the key research directions ofSZBL, reviewing the results of the strategic cooperation betweenSZBLand Evident, and looking forward to further synergistic cooperation between the two sides in technology research and development and application promotion. In his speech, Mr. ZhipengHu, Sales Director of Evident in China, emphasized the company's continuous investment and support to the Chinese research market, and expected that through the in-depth cooperation with Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, China's life science research and microscopic imaging technology will reach the peak.
Eleven renowned experts in the field of microscopic imaging were invited to give presentations, including Prof. Yujie Sun from the College of Future Technology of Peking University, Prof. Tongsheng Chen from the School of Information and Optoelectronic Science and Engineering, SCNU, Prof. LejunQu from Shenzhen University, etc. The presentations covered a wide range of topics from fundamental principles to innovation and technology. The presentations covered from basic principle innovation, practical application transformation to the expansion of cutting-edge fields, including big science programs and devices in life sciences, ultrasound brain functional imaging, super-resolution microscopic imaging technology, fluorescence resonance energy transfer technology, light sheet microscopy, laser confocal microscopy, fluorescence probe, and other research fields. The experts brought a feast of knowledge and thinking to the audience, and attracted many researchers who “use microscope, love microscope and understand microscope” to participate in the study and discussion.
The success of this seminar has strengthened the strategic partnership between Shenzhen Bay Laboratory and Evident. Both parties indicated that they will continue to cooperate deeply in the field of bio-optical technology in the future, and jointly promote the wide application and innovative development of microscopic imaging technology in the field of life sciences, so as to provide more powerful technical support for solving major life science problems.
