November 14-16, 2025, the 27th China Hi-Tech Fair was held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. At the “Building the Eastern Greater Bay Area for Biopharmaceuticals” innovation exhibition, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory（SZBL）and Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation （SMART）showcased their unique research-industry integration approach: “Starting with fundamental research and ending with solving clinical challenges.” Leveraging the distinctive “IT+BT” convergence strengths of Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area, both institutions are committed to advancing the deep integration of artificial intelligence and life sciences. Guided by unmet clinical needs, they focus on resolving critical bottlenecks in scientific research, with a series of future-impactful innovations gradually emerging.

This exhibition was spearheaded by SZBL's Office of Technology Transfer andSMART's Center for Technology Transfer and International Communication, with co-organization by Bay Charm and Bay Trial. Over 20 high-quality projects from the laboratory and medical academy actively participated, with several already securing market capital investment or signing letters of intent.

Through multi-level collaboration and platform integration, SZBL and SMART continuously strengthen the biopharmaceutical innovation ecosystem in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, injecting sustained momentum into scientific breakthroughs and industrial transformation. Moving forward, we will remain committed to clinical demand-driven approaches and source innovation as our engine, accelerating the transformation of scientific achievements and ecosystem development. We will relentlessly pursue the vision of “building the Eastern Greater Bay Area for biopharmaceuticals”!
