On June 23, Shenzhen Municipal Committee of CPPCC Chairperson Lin Jie led a delegation to SZBL. SZBL Executive Vice Director Wu Yun-Dong, Party Secretary Hu Xiaojun and Vice Director Tu Huan accompanied the visit.

The Chairperson and her delegation visited the exhibition hall and the research labs to learn about SZBL’s development before a meeting with SZBL leadership and other laboratory representatives.

During the meeting, Wu Yun-Dong spoke about laboratory development in various aspects, including scientific research system, research group, platform building and mechanism innovation. He highlighted SZBL’s efforts in serving the country through science and introduced phased progress in the scientific research of the laboratory.

Lin Jie fully affirmed SZBL’s achievements. She said that the role of SZBL is not just a a key facility to support the development of Shenzhen and the Comprehensive National Science Center, but an important engine to fuel regional science to a higher level. Lin Jie hoped that SZBL would continue to actively promote regional synergy and form cooperative force in basic research, innovation and technology breakthrough.

Shenzhen Municipal Committee of CPPCC Vice Chairperson Wu Yihuan and Guangming District Party Secretary Liu Sheng attended the meeting.
