Themed on “Biochemical Technology To Advance Human Civilization”, the 2021 IPSPC focused around research areas in the structure, function and synthesis of peptide and protein, peptide-based drug discovery, proteomics and metabolomics and immunotherapy.

Nearly 40 experts and scholars from 26 universities, research institutions and hospitals were invited to attend the conference. Academic seminars, open discussions, and webinars were organized to promote scientific exchanges for the development of peptide and protein science.

At the seminar session, 24 experts and scholars shared their latest research with the conferees. Professor Tian Changlin from the University of Science and Technology of China introduced his new discoveries on peptide drug through video.

PTMC hosted the 2021 IPSPC in an effort to create a high-level academic exchange platform for peptide and protein science and to advance China’s peptide and protein research as well as relevant industrial innovation.
