The 22nd China High-Tech Fair (CHTF) opened on November 11 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. This year, the high-tech event attracts the world’s famous scientists, institutions, enterprises and venture capitals as its participants to exhibit high-tech achievements and share ideas of leading-edge science and technology.
As one of the event’s participants, SZBL exhibited major scientific programs on cancer, neuroscience and infectious diseases research, as well as advanced ophthalmic medical instruments all created by the laboratory itself on the high-tech fair, revealing its ideas for a comprehensive drug discovery pipeline that connects every step starts at the lab and to clinical applications.
SZBL was established as a Guangdong provincial laboratory that focuses on bio-information, biomedicine and medical engineering. It undertakes the mission to deliver sciences for global health. In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic challenged the safety of all mankind, SZBL initiated quick response to conduct research to fight the disease. Based on collaboration with other institutions, SZBL had achieved progresses in nucleic acid testing, antibody detection and drug trials.
