An enterprise delegation from Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group (YRPG) and Guangzhou Hairui Pharmaceutical Company (Hairui) visited Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL) on August 20. SZBL Pingshan Translational Medicine Center (PTMC) Director LI Zigang and other scientists and representatives met with the delegates.

At the meeting, PTMC Director LI Zigang welcomed the delegation. Hairui’s business development manager CHENG Jiefeng provided a profile of the company and introduced their R&D teams and core products.

SZBL scientist CHEN Jie’an from PTMC spoke about the developments of both SZBL and PTMC. LI Zigang and CHEN Jie’an specifically introduced the scientific strengths of PTMC in chemical and biological drug R&D by highlighting their projects in anti-tumor drug candidates discovery and polypeptide drug discovery.

In-depth exchanges on research design, drug screening, platform and techonology, and drug R&D and translation were conducted. Both parties expressed intention for further cooperation in scietific research and industrial transformation.
