SZBL Delegation Visited Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute

Last week on May 14, a delegation from SZBL went to the Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute for a visit. ZHANG Longji, Director of the Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute and other officials from the institute welcomed and met with the SZBL delegates. Director ZHANG Longji briefed the delegates with an overview on the Institute’s background of development, key areas of research, international profile, research groups and programs, and technology transfer. CAO Yang, Head of the SZBL Office for Research, introduced the laboratory’s development to the representatives from the counterpart institute. Both parties exchange opinions on collaborative research, technology transfer, scientific facility and shared platform building, before proceeding to the mode of potential collaboration. The SZBL delegates visited the laboratories in the Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute after the meeting. Further discussion and exchange on scientific instruments and platform building for potential collaboration were brought up during the visiting tour to the labs. Both of the parties were holding anticipation for extending into details for collaboration.
