On June 21, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL) welcomed a delegation led by CHEN Runsheng, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. SZBL Executive Vice Director WU Yun-Dong and other relevant representatives received the delegates. The delegation was taken to a tour around the SZBL exhibition hall before a meeting. WU Yun-Dong provided a detailed briefing on the developments of SZBL. Dr. LIU Meiyi from SZBL Institute of Systems and Physical Biology (ISPB) introduced employment situation, research progress and development plan of ISPB. Both parties had in-depth exchanges on basic research, discovery for innovative drug, translational medicine, anti-cancer drug and health big data. Academician CHEN Runsheng is one of the pioneer scholars developing the researches on theoretical biology, bioinformatics and noncoding RNA in China. At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed anticipation towards further exchanges and cooperation in the future
